Snappy Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Snappy lets you capture a region or element of your screen, annotate it, and copy or save the result. This policy covers the Snappy browser extension and the Snappy desktop app.
What we collect
Nothing. Snappy does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts.
Where your data lives
Captures, annotations, and saved documents stay on your device. The extension stores them in your browser's local IndexedDB; the desktop app stores them in your local application-data folder. None of it leaves your machine through Snappy.
Browser permissions
The extension requests only activeTab, scripting, storage, and contextMenus. It declares no
host permissions and never runs on a page until you explicitly invoke it
(toolbar icon, shortcut, or context menu). It cannot read pages you don't
act on.
